In India:

Graduated in Civil Engineering (Calcutta) at the age of 21 in 1962; joined the Order of Ramakrishna in 1966; supervised the restoration of a building of national importance, and participated four times in relief operations after disasters happening in India; Headmaster of a residential school run by the said Order from April 1974 to August 1983; assisted in management of a Home meant for giving food and lodging to poor students of the University of Calcutta (Kolkata).

In Europe:

Assistant Minister, Centre Vedantique, Gretz from Sept.1986 to Jan.1989, thereafter, President, Centre Védantique, Geneva.

Interfaith participations:

On the Committee of World Faiths Development Dialogue (1998-2000), and of Inter-religious Platform, Geneva since its inception; peace meets under the auspices of the Community of Sant’Egidio; represented the Order of Ramakrishna during Third and Fourth Parliaments of World’s Religions; gave several talks in WCC’s campus at Bossey on specific issues related to Hinduism.
